To take advantage of Tuesday afternoon, we went to see Skagen, one of the villages north of the Jutland peninsula and where you can see the union between the North Sea and Baltic Sea. After the visit which is further north was fairly quick, or at least as fast as we could because it was a cold wind of a thousand pairs of c . . . . and sand would not let us move forward as fast as we wanted. It is a worthwhile visit, especially to see how the waves crash coming from both seas. Yes, better choose a day with some sunshine and little wind. They say that on a sunny day, you can see seals (not fat women, right Paco?) Sunbathing. We only saw one . . . and do not know if in very good condition. Yes, I was belly up, but . . . . Finally, before leaving, we visited and had dinner in the town of Skagen. Addition of the cold and fishy odor that reached us at almost every turn, we saw a small village, very traditional low houses and typical pedestrian street lined with shops, bars and restaurants but little else.
